Both clients and agents/brokers can access the system via our secure Berkley Life Sciences’ Producer and Insured Login Services (PILS) site. Once logged in, completing a request for a certificate is easy, and, in most instances, produces an accurate certificate of insurance in just two business days.

Efficient and Accurate
The system allows you to request both a coverage quote and a certificate of insurance in one simple step. And, you can enter the required data directly into the system, thereby reducing errors and eliminating the need to re-key information. The data is reviewed by an underwriter, and, once approved, feeds directly into the certificate of insurance. This process reduces wait time and ensures accuracy.

Keeping You In The Know
You will remain in the loop through automated emails that keep you informed at each stage of the process. You will know immediately when a request has been submitted; when the underwriter has requested additional information; and when the approved certificate of insurance is ready for viewing or downloading.

Helps You Manage The Process
It is not uncommon for a single client to have multiple admitted clinical trials policies in various countries at any one time. The system helps you stay on top of the coverage for each of them. We have included several tools to help manage the complex tasks required in such circumstances.

• A dashboard overview of all draft, active and approved certificate requests
• Documents related to a trial are tied to each request, and protocols and informed consent documents can be attached
• The final certificate is always available for viewing, printing or downloading
• Communications with your underwriter are logged within each certificate request, eliminating the need to search through your email
